Its about

Poem:

Its about Corn on Dogs, fun and soda
About people ya love bein'close to ya
The hoops and jams are all real tight
Some might say an intellectual blight
Heres a verse thats a brainy highlight
Jones Soda helps Corn Dog Day INGNITE !

Artist's Statement:
As the harmony of light and color on a canvas the "Corndog Poetry Slam" inspires the intellect and palate to new, many say, unheard of heights.

Corndog Poem

Poem:

Good food on a stick
Baked until a golden brown
The mighty corndog

What ??

Poem:

Soft what light breaks upon yonder oven
It is my corndog begging for ketchup
Yea, with mustard I will requite thee
Friend and foe gather this day
Celebrating Hoops Tots Dogs and Soda
That softly touch my lips and I LIVE !

Artist's Statement:
Corndogs, Tots, Hops, Hoops and Soda is an eloquent bundle of inspiration for any poet.

Corn Dog Day

Poem:

Hotdogs on a stick, I can't help but love 'em,
tater tots, I eat lots, fresh out of the oven.
I love the NCAA, especially on Corn Dog Day,
a refreshing Jones Soda, just like I told ya,
is a party all the way!

Corny Limerick

Poem:

There's only one proper way
To watch the NCAA:
Grab some friends and a load of
Beer, Dogs, Tots, & Soda
And enjoy National Corndog Day!

Artist's Statement:
I felt that the spirit of NCD is best represented by the rhythm of a jaunty limerick.

Ode to Dog

Poem:

There once was a food named corn dog
Who felt he didn't belong
So he partnered with spuds, Jones, and suds
And now there's a day for them all!

Happy National Corn Dog Day!

Artist's Statement:
It just came to me - like divine intervention....

Ode to Jones

Poem:

Jones Soda tickles my tongue
with flavors most ambitious!
When paired with a corn dog, so very delicious!

Grab a bottle and toast to dogs, tots & friendship,
Here's to Jones, NCD and
Pure freakin' refreshment!

Artist's Statement:
I am inspired by clinking bottles and an artist's palette of mustard, ketsup, pale golden dogs, and a rainbow of Jones!

Designated Driver

Poem:

Ate tots & dogs by the dozens,
Knew the Peebers would bring a buzz on,
Opened the fridge & to my delight,
there sat a Jones soda, chilled just right.
Popped open the crown, and guzzled it down,
Guess I'm the designated driver tonight.

Artist's Statement:
My poetry is inspired by acid indigestion, a sore back, and the fact that there's only one bathroom at the fire house.

Food Delight!

Poem:

It's that time of year - NCD is here!
Full of corndogs. Now what to drink?
Jones Soda is a good choice, I think.
Melon, Cherry, Green Apple, Cream
Wow! This soda is the supreme!
Celebrate the right way today!

Artist's Statement:
Dreaming of full refrigerators and full stomachs

Oh Lucky Me

Poem:

Oh lucky me, I am so glad, here I sit
with a Corn Dog in hand. Golden in
color, it's smell divine, soon it will
be devoured in record time. And in the
other hand I see, a bottle of sweet
nectar, made by the Jones Soda Company!

Artist's Statement:
I create, because I can annoy you in another way!
