Oh Lucky Me

Oh lucky me, I am so glad, here I sit
with a Corn Dog in hand. Golden in
color, it's smell divine, soon it will
be devoured in record time. And in the
other hand I see, a bottle of sweet
nectar, made by the Jones Soda Company!

The folks marketing the movie "Adventureland" were nice enough to send us some shirts for the movie and Joe here won one for eating the most tots and winning the bean bag toss contest.

Full of corndogs. Now what to drink?
Jones Soda is a good choice, I think.
Melon, Cherry, Green Apple, Cream
Wow! This soda is the supreme!

Ate tots & dogs by the dozens,
Knew the Peebers would bring a buzz on,
Opened the fridge & to my delight,
there sat a Jones soda, chilled just right.
Popped open the crown,and guzzled it down,
Guess I'm the designated driver tonight.

My poetry is inspired by acid indigestion, a sore back, and the fact that there's only one bathroom at the fire house.
