Hi folks.

When we first celebrated National Corndog Day back in high school, we couldn't have imagined that dozens, let alone tens of thousands, of other folks across the country shared our love for corndogs, hoops, tots, and good carbonated beverages. Each year since its birth NCD has grown, and this year it grew exponentially, from 117 parties to over 4900 parties. Wow!?????

That's a lot of corndog love...

National Corndog Day has definitely caught fire this year, and we're excited with all the enthusiasm. I did just want to clarify one thing about NCD -- free corndogs are not guaranteed. We can't always support the tremendous enthusiasm, so determinations of which parties get dogs will be made based on a couple of criteria: previous hosting status, geographic diversity, and when your party was submitted. We'll try to accommodate as many folks as possible, but don't yet know what that final number will be. We'll try to get that out soon. Many thanks.

Fellow doggers. This year is the year. We've always dreamed that one day, one great day, National Corndog Day would be celebrated in every state in the land. A true national holiday. And this year, in 2008, with change in the air, I think we can do it. But we need your help to make the dream come true.
