Kids, Dogs, and Tots

As National Corndog Day hits 15 this year (wow), there is definitely a trend -- many of the original hosts and parties are now becoming "kid friendly." To me that shows the commitment to corndogs and the celebration transcends other life changes. It is a constant, a date that anchors the calendar with sweet cornbread goodness.
And never fear -- there are plenty of new parties taking up the youth mantle. But the question remains -- will anyone aside from DC's Narrow House ever redo the ice luge?

Partytime!
My son has loved corndogs since he was 5 years old back in October1991 he had his first FOsterfarms home baked corndog at a co op preschool. He still loves them and I still buy them for him! That tradition will never end!DaphneG aka daBrat
family event
gnellie- I love the trend you mention of these events being kid friendly- especially since that is where they started (I know there were no kegs in the early years in stan's basement!). I am aiming to make NCD history and cement the family friendly trend by actually delivering our baby on NCD. While this will put a serious crunch on my celebrating with beer and dogs, it will make for interesting day-of blogging! If god-forbid I am still pregnant on NCD- then bring on the dogs- I can't think of a better labor inducer! I am looking forward to lots of future NCD with lots of baby dogs!
