I hope F.F. is increasing production. With all of these parties I'm afraid the stores will be out. I sure don't want to be dippin and frying at my party!
Foster Farm's and Pabst can afford to host this many parties, especially with the size of them. It's cool and all how big NCD has gotten from word of mouth and whatnot, but I'm pretty sure last year there was like 150 parties or so, now there are close to 5,000?!? That is pretty amazing. It would cost them a lot of cash to supply them all.
I hope people have backup plans (like buying their own supplies, including corndogs) if FF and Pabst isn't able to supply us this year like they have in the past. I have no problem with buying my dogs but I'm having a smaller party (hence I'll just make all my buddies kick in $5 each and I'll cover the rest and just head to Costco) so it won't be much work or cash to do that. I worry about these 50+ people parties. That would cost a fair bit to host and a bit of work to track down enough corndogs if people are going after the 10-10-100 challenge. Hope it works out for everyone, but I worry some people all putting all their eggs in one basket (FF supplying the corndogs) and that is a bit risky.
Either way I'm looking forward to this year's NCD! Anxiously awaiting my Jaws t-shirt to wear with pride and take down James, the champion of last year's party. My college team isn't going to make the tourney (Go Huskies!) so I'll just instead hope for some good, close games that come down to the buzzer.

We love corndogs, slaw, tots...and torts. Cause that's our thing on Madison Avenue...law and corndogs, what could be better! Plus, we gotta celebrate the induction of our new Governor (and I will not go into the details of our ousted Luv Guv, LOL!). Cheers, doggies!

I've gotten a few RSVPs and its going to be so much fun. I've already asked the neighbor to borrow room in her HUGE freezer, she doesn't mind because she is invited and so excited! We need a corndog song!

Hello!
I was just wondering if there was any way to know if I am getting corndogs or not? I have people coming over for the party and need to know if I will be blessed by the corndog gods. =)
JeepMom,
Was wondering if you have found out anything yet? I hear yah on the planning part. I have no idea either. Anyways take care and good luck.

We are waiting for word too. We have all of our tots. You should have seen the look on people's faces as we strolled through Walmart with 20 bags of tater tots in our cart. Both of our freezers are now completely full with tots. Here is an idea for those of you having larger parties: Rent a freezer! We contacted Rent-a-Center and we are having two 7 cubic foot freezers delivered next week to put in our garage for all of the corn dogs. It only set us back $35 for two weeks use. They also deliver and pick up for free!
To me, 4949 parties still seems a little low... That's not even 100 per state! Given the universal appeal of corndogs, tater tots, beer and basketball, this should be bigger than most holidays!
I count 4,949 parties, at least one in each state...PBR and Foster Farms officially together at last...2008 is indeed an exceptional year for NCD. And my stomach expansion excersizes are coming along nicely, thank you.

LOL I do apologize, but it just didn't seem possible that there were 4949! Hope everyone who hasn't gotten all their fixins are able to find them before the store shelves are wiped clean heehee I know there's been some grumblings on here, but how great is this?!? Hope everyone's party is a smashing success and that your guests host their own next year. Folks, this is bigger than us! Just have a great time with it!
