Posting to the Party Blog

1. Login to the site.
2. Click the Create content link in the upper left hand Navigation Block.
3. Click the Blog entry link on the Create content page.
4. Enter a title and body for your post and click submit.

Uploading an Image

1. Login to the site.
2. Click the Create content link in the upper left hand Navigation Block.
3. Click the Image link on the Create content page.
4. Enter a title or your image.
5. Select a category for your image. If you want this image to appear in your party gallery, select "Gallery". If you're going to include this image in a blog post, but you don't want it to appear in the gallery, select "Blog".
6. Click on the browse button and locate the image on your computer.
7. You can enter a longer description of the image in the Body field if you like.
8. Click submit.

Image limitations

• Image Resolution: 400x300 maximum.
• Allowed filename extensions: jpg jpeg gif png.
• File size: 50KB maximum.

http://www.resizr.com/ is a decent online image resizing tool if you don't have the necessary software on your computer.

Including an Image in a Blog post

Underneath the Body field, in the lower left hand corner, is an icon that looks like a polaroid picture with a plus sign on top of it:

Click on this icon to include one of the images you previously uploaded in your blog post.

You will get a pop-up window with a list of all your images.

1. Click on the image you'd like to include in your post.
2. Edit the title and description if you like.
3. Change the size, alignment, and link behavior if you like.
4. Do not change the "Insert mode" setting. It must be set to "Filter Tag".
5. Click the Insert button.

A tag surrounded by square brackets will appear in the Body field. When you Preview or Submit your post, the image will appear.
