Cannot wait for Corndog Day. We have people asking already about 2012 National Corndog Day and planning vacation around the big event. Will be watching for updates, wondering exactly which day it will be? March 17th, St Patrick's Day, green dogs and green beer, or the March 24th, the weekend after? Either way have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!

We had a blast this year! We upped our attendance record to 63. John and Natalie brought our youngest attendee, 8-week old Skylar. We had our first triple double -- we think Noah could have kept eating (he had 13 dogs) but the beers were slowing him down! The kids craft was pure insanity. Thanks to our guests and sponsors -- we're ready to go HUGE for the 20th anniversary!

Had toddler bedtimes to contend with this year, so the party got started early and ended early. All told we hit some good numbers this year. A total of 19 participants joined our celebration, which is an all-time high. Our tally for this year was 79/60/48. Very respectable. Only two official triple-doubles were hit this year by repeat parties. The first triple-double of the night was a toddler one, which was 10 mini corn dogs, 10 tots, and 10 oz. of milk/juice.

Looking forward to the 20th anniversary celebration next year. BTW, the balloons were a big hit with the kids this year. Definitely include them in the party packs next year.

Well I personally could not get a party together due to one of my friends getting married, but we tried our best to celebrate NCD. I managed to eat my 10 corndogs before the wedding, at a good enough time beforehand to make room for dinner at the wedding. I easily drank my 10 beers while at the wedding, but unfortunately no tots were available. To some degree I tried to make up for this by returning home after the wedding (about 1:30am) and consuming 4 more dogs and about 30 tots. Paul had 2 dogs and about 30 tots; the girls passed out while they were cooking (lame!).

Meanwhile, Tim tried his best to celebrate NCD as well while otherwise being occupied with "daddy daycare". He managed to down 5 corndogs and 70 tots. Ryne, who is not even 2 years old yet, ate about 5 mini dogs and 1 whole dog and some tots.

Next year will be better - our lack of party consolidation clearly undermined our ability to put up some good NCD stats. I feel like Kansas :(

Currently dealing with NCD aftermath here in Beijing. Party was a huge hit as there are now fewer corndog virgins living in China. Although think the old-school pull tab PBR really took it up a notch. The PBR here even includes Chinese character writing on the can!
