The Corndogs are here! Woohooo!

Well, the corndogs have made it to Cobb Island.... delivered on Thursday afternoon. I was laughing at everyone else complaining about the size of the boxes until I saw the boxes unloaded from the truck. Everything was nice and frozen, though. We had drill night down at our little volunteer fire department, and when I told them that the corndogs had arrived they went berserk. Up until this point, they thought it was a joke or something. Needless to say, about 20 firefighters and EMT/paramedics are looking anxiously to NCD.

Cobb Island Ready for NCD 2006!

Little old Cobb Island, Maryland, population of about 400 (and that's on a good day) is proud to take part in National Corndog Day 2006. We are located about an hour south of Washington, DC, on the lower Potomac River, near the Chesapeake Bay. We are a small, rural community, and many of our local farmers grow corn and own dogs, so it is appropriate that we celebrate this historic event. I am guessing we would probably take the prize for "smallest town celebrating National Corndog Day" if there were such a prize. (Closest traffic light = 11 miles away)
