DC Wrap-Up: The Agony and the Ecstasy

DC turned in what might have been its most successful NCD yet, if not in triple-double achievement, at least in attendance and gluttony.

Hosts tracked more than 175 guests, with peak-attendance hours being between 3 p.m. and 10 p.m. The lack of blog updates yesterday can be attributed (however lamely) to the shoulder-to-shoulder crowd in the house and the wash of beer that was dumped on the blog-updating laptop. But, here is a blow-by-blow account of the festivities for all of our beloved brothers and sisters who weren't there to witness it in person.

As of 6 pm...

...the Narrow House has consumed 527 dogs, approximately 875 tots, two totally cashed kegs, at lest ten cases of Natty Lite in cans, and seven bottles of liquor off the ice luge. We are calling in reinforcements now, and intend to continue the party for another seven hours.

DC Up and Running

The Narrow House party is up and running. We have installed a 150-lb ice luge in the gazebo, two kegs, inumerable cases of bad beer, and have begun cooking our stockpile of 1000 dogs, 300 tots, and boxes of Hostess products ad infinitum.
